Nudged By GOD

I always wanted a hobby since I first was asked what is my hobby. Which I never considered myself a crafty hobby person.  I was always more academically a book worm. I love to learn and study.  A few years ago, I was challenged by my beautiful baby daughter to make her a monkey headband. Granted I do not know how to sew or have my Mom’s patience for sewing, I accepted my daughter’s challenge and off to creating I went.  I later discovered in the creating process I was stumped big time and so wanted to impress her rather than going to the store and buy her one. Why the challenge came out? I don’t know. But at that time I was going thru a hard time and this became my new focus. A focus put upon me or us through GOD.  I believe with all my beings of atoms in my body and all the air molecules that this challenge was put into my mind not only by my daughter but GOD. HE made it possible for me to put focus elsewhere.  To put good positive focus to create something great with my hands. GOD’s nudge.

DFM 081919 Nudge By GOD EK SFF

The nudge appeared again during my vacation. To begin my journey again of designing. And that’s my tag line on my Facebook business page:  Journeying my way through business & crafting. All nudges by GOD.  Everything that has been shared, posted, created, designed, idea, thoughts of my headbands are all #nudgesbygod Nudges By GOD!  Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

What I am saying is this:  If you have a desire, an idea, or something that you need or want to begin. Listen to the nudges because the answer and solution are all set in place.  Trust the process to begin seeing the path!

Baked Fish Sticks

You’re invited to our Sunday Dinner!  And do I have a new and family approved!  Baked Fish Sticks!  It’s so light and no frying is the best part! Yummy!

Baked Fish Sticks 081819 Sunday Dinners

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pound of Alaskan Cod Fish cut into 1 to 2 inches

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon salt and pepper

1 bag of panko crust lemon pepper

1/4 tbsp of melted butter

A drizzle of olive oil

1 tbsp of fresh parsley or parsley flakes (I used the flakes because I forgot to get the fresh while shopping!)

1/2 or 1/3 cup of parmesan grated cheese (I used less because I didn’t want the cheese to over power the cod but to give it a slight tang to it.)

Canola spray for the baking pan

Let’s begin with cutting/slicing the cod pieces. Set aside.

Bowl 1 – Mix the flour, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Set aside.

Bowl 2 – Crack the eggs and mix.

Bowl 3 – In the 3rd bowl mix the panko crust, parsley, butter, and oil. Mix thoroughly. Then add the parmesan. Mix. Set aside.

Begin with bowl 1. Follow video.

Bake at 415 degree oven for 12 minutes. Flip the sticks and cook another 5 to 7 minutes.

Podcast Episode 37 Urgency and Faith

Podcast Episode 37 Urgency and Faith

Is your life full of FAITH or URGENCY. You cannot have urgency on other daily matters versus faith but it does happen.  We often put urgency on simple matters such as washing the dishes or folding the laundry. Urgent matters don’t and shouldn’t take the place or push faith to the sidelines.  See without faith we couldn’t have them simple urgent matters.  And we couldn’t do what we do with a peaceful mind with out faith. Faith is the stepping stones to bigger and grandeur blessings set on our path. Trust the process and put faith above all else. Above the simple and above the mold hills we often times convert to messy mountains. Take care of what’s important and then do the non-urgent matters.

Doing It Scared, Under HIS Care

Doing It Scared, Under HIS Care

Recently, I’ve introduced a Headband Beta Box Launch because I’m more than ready to creative, give, and share my talent and skills to the interwebs.  And this Beta Launch is about to happen really soon, quick, fierce, fast, and furious.  I’ve previously done many craft shows in Houston, TX. Craft shows such as the mom and pop one’s, juried, 3 day weekend events, and out of the city shows as well.  Did I like it?  Yes! It was a great learning experience. It was a great step up from a daughter challenge to selling them at shows.

08 I rather go Bra Shopping Estela Kelley SFF

Everything I’ve learned and more is so different from an internet launch. Totally opposite fields. With this beta launch, I’m so ready to receive all the goodness, the fails, the learning, and the growing from this launch!  So excited! At times I do get scared but I’m covered by HIM.  Doing it scared, under HIS care! How awesome is that! My desire for expansion has reemerged this creativity  of mine which I call, “My Thing” to be shared through a launch! This launch is not about a launch! It’s something more here. Nudged by GOD. #nudgedbygod #doingitscaredunderhiscare

On my Facebook Live today, my deep thoughts were let it go.  Girl, let it go!  If you need to unzip that pant for a few moments, unzip it.  If you desire a piece of cake, go eat it!  If you desire to share something with someone, then go do it. Letting it go means doing it scared but under HIS care. Let go of the worries. Let go of the dirty house if you need to focus on something else for a few days.  Let go of whatever is ailing you and trust HE’s providing everything for you. Amen! Amen! Amen!

With Eyes Wide Shut

When GOD came to Mary to inform her that she would have a baby born out of wedlock, she trusted him with his will and ways with her.  Can you do that?  Can you go about life and make decisions based on his will and ways?  Or do you fight against every decision you make.  Causing self doubt and second guessing yourself?  GOD has his own way of speaking to us individually.  Even when we are doing great, HE speaks to us.  When we are weary, HE speaks to us.  HE sees in us before we see physically.

Trust GOD 080519 Estela Kelley SFF

When I am in deep need of guidance, I ask him for guidance and let the thought process rest so that HE can take over and show me the guidance sought. Sometimes I have worries and issues but then I remember to let it go with prayer and find some peace doing other more important things. My priority is to prayer first, release, and find peace. If I only place worries first then I’m constantly looking with eyes wide open and never finding the solution, creating more worries, and finding no peace.

Place your trust in GOD with eyes wide shut and let HIM take over your situation.

Podcast Episode 35 Pivoting Your Mind Is A Powerful Thing

Podcast 35 Pivoting Your Mind Is A Powerful Thing

Change and shifting can be hard to the point of stubbornness and disobedience to yourself and your gifts. It becomes so routine and comfortable doing the same thing. Doing the safe work is comforting. And if it’s something we are doing in work or at work, it’s even harder to add on projects. And if you are that type of person who can’t handle change this is a hard lesson to learn. Pivoting your mind in how you do things daily can enhance your life goals. As individuals in society we need to be flexible. Moldable. Shiftable. In a business you need to be changing and shifting as well. Always growing and expanding. Listen in and take a kind ear to the podcast!

You Are Granted Permission

Whatever you are seeking to do in life, job, change lifestyle, or change something for the better of your current status. You are granted permission from the most high. Everything that you are seeking that will improve your life, your families life, your job has been granted from above.  Anything that you cannot foresee or are seeking to get to create, develop, change, or go toward too, you are granted permission from the most high.

Monday 072919 EK SFF

There isn’t really a wall. It’s ourselves stopping us from progressing to the next steps.  Yes, them hard and scary steps, but necessary steps.  What we have developed in our mind is an invisible wall that seems to stop us from going forward.  You are granted permission from the Most HIGH.  Granted permission to succeed. Granted permission to progress. Granted permission to doing it scared. Granted permission to fail, fix, and grow. Now give yourself permission.  Give yourself the opportunities.  Give yourself permission and extinguish that invisible wall.  Give yourself permission for HE has granted you permission since birth and even before.

Plentiful Pesto Dinner Options

You’re invited to our Sunday Dinner! You are always invited and welcome to our home to have some good eats, chat, and coffee afterwards! Today it’s all about continuing and ending the pesto theme with some plentiful pesto dinner options.

Pesto Dinner Options EK Sunday Dinners

The grilled shrimp dish I simply poured a few spoon fulls of the Basil Pesto ala Presto while the shrimp was almost done with some egg noodles I had on hand.

The next dish was a grilled chicken breast and simply poured a few spoon fulls of the Perfect Basil Parmesan Pesto toward the end of its cooking stage as well.  Any reserve in the pan, I pour over the salad as my dressing.

Lastly, I used my new FAV, Canola Garlic Oil Parmesan Pesto as a dipping sauce or drench over an individual crab cake!  These pestos are great for mixing and matching.  Even for a simply pesto mozzarella toast!  So delicious and easy!  They will store for about 4 to 6 weeks in the refrigerator in a well sealed container or jar.
