Deep Faith Monday Fire Series #43 – Holding Fast To The Race Of Life

Are you holding fast to your race of life?  Are you hanging on for dear life to begin or  finish the race? To finish that special project you poured all your heart and soul? To finish your schooling, to raise a family, to encourage others.  Joshua 22:5 to hold fast to him and serve him with all your heart and all your soul. Is HE your priority? Or do you give up on him like an amateur dabbling into something new?

HOLD Fast 111119 EK SFF

We can’t just give up the race, that project, on family, or a goal you are reaching for. The way I see is this….If you give up on things, life, or goals, you are basically giving up everything.  You are giving up the hope and faith.  You are walking away empty handed and GOD doesn’t want that for you and I. HE wants us to keep learning, keep moving forward, and keep obeying HIM. Life is about giving it everything. All your heart and soul even if its an inch here or there. Even if it’s at a snails pace. Keep holding fast to HIM daily.  Hold fast to HIM and HE will hold fast to us always.

Deep Faith Monday Fire Series #42 Take The Daydream

It’s so remarkable how good HE is. How good HE provides for us.  Remarkable how HE alotts us the gift of daydreaming.  Take the daydream any time. We do it often, don’t we? We do. We do it while driving. Sometimes while cooking. Sometimes our minds venture off into some space mind adventure to escape the now. To escape the what is. To go to the what could be at times.  I love to daydream while taking day trips. And this Saturday was a much need R&R time with the hubs #bigkahuna. I needed time to get away from the normal weekend things.  No band camp or band activities so I was in the clear! Hallelujah! No kids to shuttle here or there like Dr. Seuss. I had this weekend planned and it happened. It more so happened!  HE has seen the work and time we put in so HE has provided really well.

Take the Daydream EK SFF.png

You & I don’t have to go on any staycation every weekend. You can daydream any time. You can do it from the comfort of your home.  Daydreaming is a way to rest, relax, and mind meditate. It allows the freedom of where you want to go or what is yet to be invited or revealed of such desires. It allows every what could be. Every desire to be felt and sensed. It allows a freedom of wandering. Not every one wandering is lost.  It’s a way to connect to you and above at the same time. It’s a way of taking a small day trip within the daydream.  It replenishes the soul somewhat.

You can take a day trip, a vacation, a weekend getaway, but it’s not necessary.  I just so needed a day home break since I work from home.  Home is my office and life. Other people have jobs they drive to and come back home and stay there all weekend.  That’s fine too. Remember I was an 8 to 5 gal too at one time. I spent 10 hours a week on just driving back and forth Monday thru Friday. Daydreaming at my job made me realize I was made for more and so are you my friend(s).

Deep Faith Monday Fire Series #41 Take Fear By The Horns

Take Fear By The Horns

Who’s to say one’s not afraid to do what they do? Who’s to question the direction one’s going is not the right direction?  Who’s to target about a service or product in a demeaning manner in regards to price is too high? These are all fears based moments. One has to take fear by the horns. Lots of time its about trusting your inner circle. Guard your mind and spirit.  When someone asks you, if you are not afraid to do what you do? Do you answer with faith or fear? You feel faith has your back?

Take Fear By The Horns 102819 EK.png

I’ll admit from time to time I’m afraid to move forward, however, if I’m obedient to HIS calling, I know in my hearts of hearts that it will be okay.  I may waffle off a bit, but HE’s showing me something.  HE’s building something here. Something in my heart. Something in me. I’ve had people ask me, how do you know that’s the direction?  And they are not asking about my situation but rather they are asking about themselves. I have to answer with, “If I don’t have faith, I don’t have nothing to move toward to. It’s everything. Faith over Fear conquers the direction you want to move toward to.

Deep Faith Monday Series #40 – Be The Positive Force

I get so bottled down in my things, my business, my blog, my everything going on inside my head that I then check myself daily and weekly to reach out to my little growing family crew. I have to be the positive encouraging force.  I lend them a ear if they need to talk something out. I give them advice if they need help.  I allow my husband to vent and sort things out.  I have 3 teenagers, so that talk time sometimes has to be drawn out by asking around things until they get comfortable on talking it out. I’m lending my time on their time. Then theirs the Momster of me that has to juggle all the things so can I get short but then I check myself and set aside special time just for that one kid that needs something. They might not need me in a 2 to 3 year old way but something they are trying to figure out. Or maybe it’s their grades in a class so I need to make sure they are doing all the things to improve in that class. Maybe their just being to forgetful so I’m there to help them remember most of the time.  They have to do their part and check themselves as well.  I pray for patience lots of time! I remember to put myself in a position that GOD asked me to. A Faithful servant, a wife, a mom, and business last. I love being a wife & mom. They need to observe me serving others so they can become servants as well.

Think of others 102119 EK

However, when I’m able to bounce off of my problems or to do tasks and offer a helping hand, ear, advice,  or Momster moments I know I’m thinking of others and laying down my life for them. I pause to help them. For a friend in need. For a person needing prayer over them. For a person just wanting to talk something out that they couldn’t or were to scared to talk to someone in their inner friends. I know I’m serving GOD and being obedient. John 15:12- Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. From time to time, push your to do lists, tasks, problems, wants, and requests aside to lend some time to someone else.

Deep Faith Monday Series #39 Gain A Heart Of Wisdom

I believe we could all benefit from a heart of wisdom. When going to work on Mondays at times we can have other things on our minds that will not allow wisdom to flow through. Yesterday, as I was planning my day in my calendar, my daughter comes up to me and asks me if that helps me.  I answered with a yes.  It does help me to stay on track and be practical with my time and creates focus where focus needs to be on priorities.

Gain a heart of wisdom 101419 EK (1)

It makes for good use of my time for all tasks. It numbers my days for this week so I can make wise choices and helps me move forward. When I have a sense of peace, gratitude, and prayer I have a conversation with GOD for a heart of wisdom so that I can fulfill GOD’s desires. And HE is happy with seeing my full potential. When we receive a heart of wisdom from GOD we move forward with more confidence because we see HE is working in us and HE is ever so pleased with our talents and service.

Psalm 90: 12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

DEEP FAITH MONDAY SERIES #38 YOU ARE CHOSEN

Today has been a mess of day.  Woke up later because the kids are off from school minus the college kid. I pushed things aside because in my life it’s my kids over business. It’s my faith over family. But never business over faith.  And even if I became slightly side tracked, I still had my business in mind.  I know that GOD was foreseeing the right time for me to sit down and right to the Glory of HIM. HE foreseen that I needed to put my family duties first so that I can then regroup and find some business time.  Which brings me to Deuteronomy 7:6 For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. While and after reading it, it came to me that I must write in relation to this verse.

You are Chosen 10719 EK.png

Even though I was tending to my family and wifely duties, I had my blog in my mind.  I have my headband launch in mind. And that if I don’t do or follow thru HIS nudges, HIS gifts, that I would not be pleasing to HIM.  I would not be pleasing to our Father by not being obedient to HIS wishes and calling for me. I would be that child we raise that fought every good direction we as parents guide our kids too because as parents we see something awesome in them.  We see the gifts. We see the future for them. We see what wonderfulness they are bringing into this world through their talents and skills.  When we are not pleasing to ourselves, we are not pleasing to our Father. We have some how let HIM done like a child does to a parent.  We are HIS most treasured possession.

Now can I get an AMEN!

Deep Faith Monday Series #37 Seeds Are Growing

Seeds Are Growing

Before I began to type out the Deep Faith Monday Series, I sit still and ask GOD to give me words of wisdom and encouragement for others out there.  And as I sat still I got nothing. Nothing came forth.  Nothing was stirring in my heart.  Then “it” happened.  In my stillness I realized many things. One of them being, that I am sitting still and be aware of all the awesomeness HE is and has been providing.  In the stillness, I see the seeds that are planted and because I can’t see them, it does not mean they are not growing under in the dark.  In the stillness and in my stillness I feel everything vibrationally moving toward the sprouting seeds that will begin to reveal such awesomeness.

93019 EK

I cannot see the seeds under the ground. I cannot see the seeds begin to sprout under the dirt before they reveal the growth that has occurred in the dark. I cannot see anything visually. My focus is not only the planted seed, but the sprouting seed. And that’s where it all begins. It’s in the stillness, where seeds are growing.  It’s in my stillness of being aware that I begin to grow.  I begin to hear, see, taste, smell, & touch the new growth that is happening under and the new growth that is about to show itself through me and you all the greatness that has been planted. I encourage one that even in the stillness, new things are always being stirred into your heart and mind. GOD is great!

Do You Have a Faith Community

Humans are created to live in community.  We have family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to help, encourage, uplift, and to lean on one another.  We can’t make it on our own entirely even if we say we have no one.  A person that claims they have no one can get themselves into some real trouble.  Remember HE is only a breath away if that!  GOD is our mighty steel cord that never allows us to quickly break.  In a marriage, you have your spouse as your one of your cords. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.  If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. – Ecclesiates 4:9-10 GOD is the third strand that holds and binds your community together. Take some time this Monday and call upon HIM to be in your present moments of life, in your marriage, in your work life, in your moments of falling apart. HE is right there ready to tug you with HIS mighty cord of love for you.
