So it’s 2 O’Clock somewhere & you are slightly getting tired, body temperature going down, really wanting to reach for that candy bar or make the dreaded walk to the vending machine for a quick pick me up snack or drink.

Here I have a quick pick me up if you are a coffee drinker!  The Quick Pantry Coffee.  The reason I named it that is I used whatever I had in the pantry at that moment without having to go to the grocery store.  With a family of 5, I try to visit the grocery store just 1 time a week if I can get away with it.

Quick Pantry Coffee

Recipe

  • 6 oz. of hot coffee (dressed or undressed….I mean the coffee.) Dress it up your normal way just remember the Maple Syrup & Chocolate Syrup will add some additional sweetness.
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract or 100% Maple Syrup,
  • 1 Teaspoon Chocolate Syrup,
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream, 2 splenda (Or you can opt that out and use real sugar. I would say about 1/2 tablespoon to 1 tablespoon.),
  • Cinnamon
  • Cayenne Pepper

To make homemade whip cream is super easy. Measure out 1/4 cup heavy cream & your Splenda or sugar into your blender or mixer. Yes a blender works. Just Whip it!

Grab your favorite cup that brightens up your day! Here’s one of my favs with a picture of my #Mittens! Pour in some fresh grounded hot coffee or instant if you’re in a rush. 20180713_135229

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract or 100% Maple Syrup (This is the best tasting syrup if no Vanilla Extract on hand.)

1 Teaspoon of Chocolate Syrup to 1 Tablespoon! Whatever is your preference that day! It’s so good being bad! 20180713_135932

Stir altogether.

Top with some fresh or store bought whipped cream.  I made mine with heavy cream & 2 Splenda.

Sprinkle a dash of Cinnamon on top & dusting of Cayenne Pepper to spicy it up a notch!
