Monday Faith Fire Series #81 |Let Go of The Storm

I sure hope some of these Monday Faith Fire Series blog posting I write have helped many out there get their Monday or new week ready for success and lead an abundant and healthy work week. To set someone and even myself in a better spirit of receiving any and all goodness GOD has provided. To guide us together in hope and faith that even when we can’t see you in front of us that we need to be able to hear you in our silence. You are the creator of the Earth and universe. You are the Lord that controls the weather. And you are the Lord who controls our storms we weather daily, weekly, monthly, to years. Sometimes one can hit a wall and continuously keep hitting that wall until they release the fear. And fear is trust.

mff 81

Today I ask that you pray for yourself and anyone who needs to let go of the storm and that they can have a full life. The life they are meant to live. Let go of the storm and let GOD handle it. When in living in fear one can see and feel no hope of good things. When one lives in Christ, one can see and feel real love. Love for life. Love of hope. Love of having good things in life with hope.

Monday Faith Fire Series #80 |No Fear

I know this too shall pass but right now, this is how I feel. Sometimes life is hard and sometimes some families seem to have a dark cloud over them. I am sure you know plenty of them or a person or yourself that seems to always experience some type of hardship. It’s not all at once but when it rains it pours! Daily stresses of making sure you don’t go under in your bank account, loss of job due to the environment, health, or marriage. Dwelling on thoughts over and over. These are things that demand our attention at once along with balancing all the other good things going on in your life.

#80 Be wiser

We can talk it out with family and friends but no one can fix it. They can feel for us or help out with some money or other things but still the hardship is something you walk alone with.  That’s how you feel, right? You feel as if there’s nothing that can help and continue feeling bad about it. I know if you are a verbal processsor, you have this dramatic need to tell all, share all, blame this one person in your life, and take all bad action and advice to heart. This can get you into some trouble to serious trouble.

NO! Don’t fall for that! Be wiser. Have no fear that wisdom is coming your way.  Vent but be wiser about it. Be wiser on how you put the venting out there. Do you really have to put that side of you on the internet? GOD already knows the real you. So instead ask GOD to sit with you and ask Him to hear you out. Sometimes you have to sit there and cry to out to Him. Cry out your frustrations. Cry and voice out what’s going on. GOD’s presence is always in us and constant. Sit and reach out to Jesus. In everything you do, ask GOD for continual wisdom. Have no fear that He is always near you.

Monday Faith Fire Series #79 |Gladness Of Heart

Begin your week with the reminder that GOD has given you your lot and be happy in them. This is a gift from Him. Has GOD blessed with many opportunities such as going back to school or able to stay at home and tend to the family. Has He blessed you with wealth and things you enjoy. Has He cast you a lot that you are happy with?

07202020 MFF #79

When I used to work in corporate America, I knew GOD had something more for me. I knew that what I was doing was not 100% it. I am forever grateful for the casted lot of learning new skills, surrounded myself with some colleagues in my field, and experienced a wealth of knowledge no book could ever have given me. I am and was grateful for the lot of some great measures of wealth but at the same time, I felt this calling. For the life of me, I didn’t even know the calling yet, but it was bubbling inside. Either way I did not stress about it for too long because it was all in GOD’s timing. Instead of daydreaming about something that GOD knew I wasn’t ready for just yet, I focused on thanking GOD for my many current opportunities. I filled my heart with gladness for what He has blessed me with. And the rest just fell into place.

Ecclesiastes 5:19-20 19 And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. 20 God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.

Monday Faith Fire Series #78 | Greater Monday

You either love a Monday or hate them? Which are you? And why do you think that is?

I am actually okay with most Monday’s. I don’t hate them nor do I love them with all my heart. Let me tell you a few things I do dislike and one of them is having an issue or problem. Any issue or problem. They can really mess up one’s week, days, or hours.

So, you have a problem and can’t let it go. It’s just eating you up inside nonstop. Constantly putting all the focus and mental effort onto this new problem in your life. Imagine the spiritual draining happening inside of you.

Now, if we could put the problem away and tuck it into a box for a few hours to allow you to have a greater Monday. To allow yourself a better week. To allow you to have a strong foundation for your work week or family week. To allow you to put the focus07132020 MFF #78 into something much much more greater than the problem at hand.  Nothing is greater than GOD.  He is greater than any problem we will ever have. Seek Him for your comforts, love, help, and guidance to enjoy a much greater Monday.

Monday Faith Fire Series #77 | You Were Made For Such Moments

In times of happiness and everything is going as expected we feel extra on target, don’t we? We feel a happiness that is elevated throughout all of our being and we shine so bright that nothing can drag us down. Nothing can tumble such glowing moments.  You know, it’s like having the perfect day. Everything goes as expected. The world is our oyster!

The car is filled with gas for your week, the kids woke up not fussing, the spouse and dogs all gave you kisses before your departure, and all the dishes got loaded up into the dishwasher with just a few minutes to spare to enjoy your second cup of coffee.

07062020 such moments

You feel like the moments were made just for you. Everything fell into place so nicely. Then there’s those other moments we butt heads against the wall, nothing is going as it should, and the car gas tank is on E (empty )! Did you ever think to consider that some hard moments are meant just for you as well? You were made for such moments. Even those types of moments. They are useful and sometimes a sign of relief that we need to prepare our selves for greater moments.

We are human and made in the image of GOD but we do get tired. And even more tired when we are trying to figure out how not to have a bad day. Instead of putting all the focus on the bad, focus on the good. For you were made for such moments.

John 4:6,  NIV: “Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.”

Monday Faith Fire Series #76 | Give It Your All

It’s the last Monday for this month and this had me wondering I gave it my all this month?  Did I focus 100% plus this month? This week? This day? Did I give it my all in all the things I do? Quite frankly my answer is “no”. Not a big fat, NO. But a general lower cap “no”. And not even a “punitive no” as in I need to be so hard on myself no.

What I do know is that I shall not falter by the wayside of my own accord when my strength comes from the Lord. There may be hours or days of the month that I just want to rest my body and mind . There are days or weeks that are too scrambled together to make any coherent decisions. And there are days or hours that I can not give it my all & “I just wanna give in!”.  Can anyone relate?

06292020 give it your all

The only way to give it my all is to rest on His word. His mighty love and pillar of strength and grace over me. When I rely on Him rather than finding comfort in my bed or a nice place to lay my head down, though it doesn’t hurt, I find refuge in my mighty GOD to recharge my mind and soul like a cell phone needing to be charged up. And when I surrender everything to Him after my daily chats and prayers do I find solace in His evident love.

Monday Faith Fire Series #75 | Look Again

Have on been on many journeys of my life where I had to take another look. A glance back. A double take mentally. When you are on your path or the path you have in mind, you know the path we think is just right for us. The path no one has a say so in it until that one day. That one moment. That one person. That one trip up. That one spark. That one nudge. That one small distant idea, voice, or intuition pointing us in the right direction.

Like a child waiting for their fav parent to get home from the grocery story with their fav cookies or chips but don’t find anything until they search the last bag. And there are them good goodies they had waited for all along. Like a wife eagerly waiting to open up their anniversary gift from the hubs but nothing happens until late in the evening when she thinks the night has ended. We sit there waiting and anticipating for something great to happen. But they don’t find anything until they look again.

06222020 look again

What I’m trying to tie this into is sometimes our faith gets low and when the blind man could not clearly see the blessing Jesus healed him with the first time. Jesus told him to look again. The blind didn’t say thank you and moved along thinking that was the best this well known man of GOD could do. He told Jesus, he could see but not clearly. Not apologetically.  Not in a demanding bold character. Jesus replied with look again. And then the blind man began to see. To see his vision clear. To see his kids and family now. To see the steps his feet took on the ground.

When faith is low, we need to look again. We need to feel again and know that Jesus is always there for us. We need to look again and see that blessings are coming our way. We don’t see what’s coming until we look again with clear eyes, mind, ears, and spirit.

Monday Faith Fire Series #74 | Make Your Monday’s Manageable

Ever heard that saying “Another day, another dollar”? Or “Day in, day out”? They all refer to the days in and days out of one’s work week. Or could mean different day, same stuff going on. Nothing has changed. Like the Duncan Donuts bakery man, “Time to make the donuts.” It’s the routine of daily living, daily work, daily days of day in and day out. Some Mondays we go into the work week with that attitude. Sometimes of our own free will of attitudes can stay the same. We carry that into the work week. We can continue to feel the same pain, same sadness, same desolate of despair, or same turmoil. Or we can flip the switch to another free will station of feeling better, feel gratitude for another day with a different or even better attitude to change our compass. Now your trajectory is in a better position of success this Monday.

mffs 74 Grace Upon You (1)

When we give everything to Jesus we believe, know, and trust that He has handled everything. Jesus has already handled your pain before you even receive it. When you are crying, asking for forgiveness, asking for a clear mind, Jesus has already taken care of your needs. Now rise up this week and keep living. Keep being the best you. Keep going on. Jesus is your savior. He’s not a condemned savior to continue your sufferings. He’s here for you and I. Receive His holiness and walk in the grace He has given you and pass on that grace to others this week.

Monday Faith Fire Series #73 | Good Spirit Lead Me

May your good spirit lead and guide me on this earthly ground. Teach me to not only live faithfully for my eternal destiny but teach me here and now how to live responsibly in the way Jesus wants us too in communal harmony. Have Jesus be the guiding book and force to learning how to relate to Him and the community. ASK and seek Him with all your heart this week and every week. Ask Him and HE will teach you His growing will for you thru prayer.

_mffs 73 walk in peace, love, and harmony

With so much destruction we’ve seen this past week in peoples hearts, eyes, and hands, this is a great way to relate to your new week and cast your vision onto JESUS. Certain communities are fighting evil and good. Right and wrong. Righteous perspective vs. twisted perspective. I’m praying for guidance for all the communities and continue to see the good in people. May you lift everyone to you JESUS and find good will and HIS will for all of us. To walk in peace, love, and harmony.

Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Monday Faith Fire Series #72 | You Got Back Up

Don’t you love when you go see an action movie and the good guys always has a backup? Like Batman has Robin. Wonder Woman has her lasso. Knight Rider had Kit. I know I am dating myself, but you get the point. There is always some sort of back up. It is a good team that keeps everything in a good place. The bad guy wrestles or has the good guy pinned or cornered in some dark elusive vacant building no one can find. The good guy doesn’t really shake in their boots long because they know, just right around the corner their partner in crime is about to do a sneak attack from somewhere and together they get the villain.

mffs 72 You Got Back Up

Well, it’s the same for us. For everyone. We have a good partner in crime. We have GOD. We have Jesus. We have the Holy Spirit. We have goodness surrounding us everyday when we need help. Even in times when we feel we don’t need the help, the help is still there. When we fill stuck in a situation or stuck in spirit, GOD is our true partner in crime. You are never alone in any struggles in your life. He will speak to you with love, guidance, and strength in every thing you do. Find courage and wisdom in HIS love always.
